TW Streamer Lite for macOS. Last updated 11 September 2026.
TW Streamer Lite collects no data about you. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network permission of any kind. That last point is not a promise about our intentions: the app is built without the entitlement that would let it open a network connection, so it cannot send anything anywhere even if it tried.
Video arrives from your goggles over the USB cable, is shown on your screen, and is discarded. If you press record, it is written to a file on your own Mac, in your Movies folder or a folder you chose. Those files are yours. They are never uploaded, never examined, and never leave your computer through this app.
A handful of preferences, kept on your Mac in the app's own settings: the shape, fill, rotation and flip you last chose, whether to resume recording after a reconnection, and the recording folder if you picked one. Nothing in that list identifies you, and none of it is transmitted.
Nothing. The only outbound actions anywhere in the app are the items in its Help menu, which open this page, the support page, an email draft, or our other app's App Store listing, in whichever browser or app you have chosen. Your Mac makes those requests, not the app.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A version of the app that collected data would need a new permission, which would be visible in its App Store listing.
